Accounting Manager at Banked

We’re looking for a dynamic and ambitious Senior Accountant to join Banked’s Finance team.

This job will be an instrumental contributor to enhancing our growing organization's accounting and process needs. You will have a unique opportunity to be a direct contributor to Banked’s developing finance and accounting function.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an adaptable Senior Accountant to execute transactionally and strategically on the financial management of our business. Someone who can drive process improvement, enhancing the speed and accuracy of Banked’s financial reporting. Someone who has experience with transfer pricing and multi-currency, global consolidations. As one of the key hires, we are looking for an intellectually curious, self-starter with a strong bias towards action and is interested in working in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment. 

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in corporate accounting.

About you

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance (or related) field

• 5+ years of accounting experience in a startup, corporate, consulting, or audit capacity

• Strong Excel skills, including data tables, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc

• Experience working with Xero and Datarails or other similar FP&A software platforms a plus

• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting and financial systems, processes, and all applicable accounting and tax standards

• Experience consolidating financial statements with underlying multi-currency Transfer Pricing, and intercompany transactions

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, investigative, and analytical skill

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities, prioritize effectively and deliver results with an ownership mentality

• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, exciting startup environment

What you will be doing at Banked

• Manage end-to-end financial statement consolidations, revenue recognition, and transfer pricing

• Serve as principal liaison with local and consolidation auditors

• Manage and design FP&A analysis reports in Datarails

• Manage local accounting resources to drive efficient month-end close process, including account reconciliations and maintenance of monthly support schedules

• Advise on and implement accounting procedures, systems, and controls

• Identify, design, and assist in implementing strategic enhancements to drive financial data accuracy and expediency, including reconciliations, controls, internal process improvements, technology upgrades, etc.

• Assist in analyzing financial trends and variances to improve data accuracy and escalate opportunities for financial upside (revenue upside, cost reductions, etc.)

• Work cross-functionally within the organization to compile and enhance financial / SaaS metrics tracking, reporting, and visibility
